NDIS occupational therapy in Sydney
Practical support to do the everyday things that matter to you, more easily and more independently — at home, at school, at work or in our Bankstown clinic.

What our occupational therapists do
Occupational therapy is about participation: getting dressed, cooking a meal, catching the bus, managing a school day or holding down a job. Our OTs look at what you want to do, what is getting in the way, and the most practical route around it.
- Assess daily living skills and build strategies to do more independently
- Identify and remove barriers to taking part in school, work and community life
- Recommend, trial and train you in assistive technology and adaptive equipment
- Assess your home and workplace and recommend modifications
- Write clear, evidence-based reports for NDIS planners and plan reviews
- Coach families, carers and support workers so strategies stick between sessions

Where we see you
Most OT happens best where life happens. We visit homes, schools and workplaces across Western and South-Western Sydney, offer telehealth for reviews and check-ins, and see participants at our Bankstown clinic when that suits better.
Questions about occupational therapy
Is occupational therapy covered by my NDIS plan?
Yes, for most participants. Occupational therapy is usually funded under Capacity Building – Improved Daily Living. Assessments for equipment or home modifications may also be funded from your Capital budget. We check your plan before we start so there are no surprises.
Do you offer mobile occupational therapy in Western Sydney?
Yes. Our OTs travel to homes, schools and workplaces across the Canterbury-Bankstown, Liverpool, Fairfield, Parramatta and Cumberland areas, and further by arrangement. Travel is charged in line with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements.
How often will I see an occupational therapist?
It depends on your goals. Some participants need a one-off assessment and report; others benefit from weekly or fortnightly sessions for a block of time. We agree a schedule with you at the start and review it as you progress.
How do I know if my child needs OT?
Common signs include difficulty with handwriting, dressing, using cutlery, sitting still, managing emotions or coping with sensory input. If you're unsure, call us — a short conversation is often enough to tell whether an assessment would help.
