Assistive technology assessment
The right equipment changes what's possible. We help you find it, trial it, fund it and use it well.

How it works
- Understanding your needs: what you want to do, where, and what's getting in the way
- Tailored options: equipment that suits your body, your home and your routine
- Hands-on trials: you try before any decision is made
- NDIS report: clear justification written to the Assistive Technology guidelines
- Set-up and training: fitting, adjustment and practice so you get the full benefit
- Ongoing support: reviews as your needs or the technology change

Questions about assistive technology assessment
Does the NDIS fund assistive technology?
Yes, when it is reasonable and necessary and related to your disability. Low-cost items can often be bought from your plan directly; mid and high-cost items need an assessment and quote. We handle the evidence.
How long does an AT assessment take?
Usually one to two hours, plus trial time for complex equipment such as power wheelchairs. Reports typically take two to three weeks.
Can you help me trial equipment before buying?
Yes. We arrange trials with suppliers so you can test equipment in your own environment before committing.
